We ate at Boticelli's last Friday for dinner, and oh my God, we enjoyed it.
So much so that we forgot to take any pictures of the food! Once the first bites hit our lips - scallops for me, a meaty sandwich creation for Ross - we couldn't be stopped. Not even for photo ops.
Do any you do Date Night? With a lover, or a friend? It is the one thing that we do religiously. Every Friday! Sometimes it's fancy, sometimes it's Pho on The Drag. By which I mean, casual.
(I think Ross looks handsome contemplating the menu).

Aw.
Nope, as the most single girl in Austin, I have never had a date night kind of thing with anybody. I have been on a few real dates.
PS -- I want to talk to you about stuffs, is it ok to e-mail?
@Mai - :D I know. So classy, yet keeping it real. (PS - got yo email! Will chat).
@Tiffany Diane - Speaking of emails, of course it's ok. Send away dollface.
And let me assure you: I can say wit certainty that there are a number of men (and women) in Austin, and the world, who would love to take you up on Date Night.
OOOH another fellow austinite!!
I don't know about dates but me and the bf go out to eat ALL the time... usually some place like starseeds/kerbey lane/ihop/mellow mushroom though.
Anyway, I hope you'll drop by my blog... I'm a fashion blogger in the atx ;D

@Diya - Hey woman, I'll totally go check out your blog! Love the link already. :)
IHOP. I haven't had a good IHOP date in a while. We're overdue for a Rooty Tooty Fresh N' Fruity Breakfast Special.
yes, we do date nights a lot! tried to have one at Botticelli's a couple of weeks ago in fact, but they were all booked up. : ( we'll def. try again - i've heard fab things about it from lots of peeps.
P.s.
what happened to Leslie's butt? it's ok, i prefer the cans actually (less assaulting to the eyes).
: )
Man, if Dave and I have a night off from the baby, we usually just spend it sprawled on our couch watching bad TV and eating even worse food. However, we did have a true date night a little while ago, and it was awesome. We tried Gordough's donuts (almost too much, but just almost) and saw Avatar (not as bad as I thought it would be, especially in IMAX 3D). The glasses were hilarious, as was my husband. It was a sweet reminder of how much fun we have together.
@Beth H - We have run into that with Boticelli's too (it being all booked up) so this time around we made a reservation. No wait! Even on a Friday! So try that.
Leslie's butt...I kinda miss it, if I'm being honest with you. But it was taking the page a long time to load on some people's computers. I'm in the market for a cuter font though for the "Austin Eavesdropper" part; perhaps you know of some kicky, unique ones?
@EMQ - Gordoughs! Haha. Fried chicken on a donut! It IS one of those places you have to try at least once I feel, just to say that you did.
I totally loved watching Avatar in 3D. That's so cute that you and your husband went to the IMAX for it :) Don't you love Date Night when you plan a little event for yourselves?? I imagine that having a baby in the picture requires a whole new element of planning to make Date Night happen, though. :)
