Your humble host on Fox Austin.

Oh look, I was on TV today.  Do you like how I forgot how to spell around moment 3:15?   That's always nice.

Anyway, Fox was interviewing me about my Neurotic's Guide to SXSW, posted on Monday.  I hope some of the tips are helpful!   Here are the resources I recommended:

Useful Apps:

Hurricane Party: For instantaneous group get-togethers
Tipsy Taxi ATX: When you're too blazed to drive

SXSW Party Resources:

I will also be posting one free SXSW party a day, starting Monday.

And for a full GRID of free and non-free SXSW events:

(That's the website I was trying to spell.  S-c-h-e-d.  I really had to think about it.  If only my grad school English department could see me now).

I totally took notes while watching your segment and felt like a complete idiot once I scrolled down to see that you had all the info right there. Oops.

Ohhhh man, I love you T. Did you really want to say "effed up" right there? Because that would have been high-larious.

Superawesomeyay!

I love the drama of the interview. So many things you mentioned have the potential to CHANGE MY LIFE! This could turn into a drinking game, a la Robin Scherbatsky's "but um" drinking game from How I Met Your Mother. YES!

I'm so going to be abusing that tipsy taxi app this week. You look SOOO beautiful! I would be like a deer in the headlights...don't do well in front of video cameras. No mam!

For anyone who hasn't read "Cowboy saga" in Austin Eavesdropper's Crowd Favorites go there right now. It's hilarious. I just discovered it by scrolling down the left hand side. Click on it and laugh your ass off!

You all make me feel so good about myself. <3 <3 <3 If I weren't a hot mess right now I'd write something more interesting -- like -- I nearly crashed my car that morning smearing on under eye concealer! Thank God for makeup (and for antilock brakes).

@Ana -- Unofficial SXSW events are, by and large, the "free" (i.e., no-badge-needed) events. Double-check for each one you RSVP to, but that's a general rule of thumb. Some of them DO require RSVPing days in advance, so keep that in mind.

Totally and beyond in love with your blog. It's my new crush. My name's Anna, I'm a stylist and visual merchandiser in LA. I'm 23 years old and moved to California after graduating back in south with a degree in visual merchandiser. I've been lucky enough since moving out here to work with some of LA's most respected designers. I'd love if you visited my new blog for multiple posts a day on all things fashion. I'd love the support. I'm following you, I hope you'll do the same. Thanks so much.

Love it Tolly and you of course did an awesome job. How nice of them to show a split second clip of your aerial dance video. Ha.
