Austin Flash Mob = My kind of mafia

LOVE Flash Mob. Was going to participate in Flash Mob on Saturday. Did any of you all?

If you haven't heard of Flash Mob yet, you need to. Here is a stunt they pulled this weekend at Whole Foods that is getting a lot of attention:

How rad, right.

Anyway, like Anonymous, Project Chanology, and the Rick Rolling phenomenon, Flash Mob is international - from Boston to Beirut. Check out Austin Style Watch's commentary on our local contingent, or head straight to Flash Mob Austin's website for the post-Whole Foods freeze buzz. To start receiving Flash Mob's updates, you can friend them on Facebook or follow them on Twitter.

i find it amazing you can get people out to do things like this, but they can't be troubled to vote. what a waste.

That was funny. I've only participated in a UT flash mob, and I think everyone has a good time.

Maybe Anonymous can motivate people to do an election day flash mob, perhaps either in the local election in May or the mid-term election in 2010?

Angie you are a genius!! Thoughts, Anonymous? Just say the magic words - "Brewster McCracken" - and I'm there in a heartbeat.

This was pretty cool when they did it in grand central over a year ago... still kind of cool when they did it in sydney...

looks like some people in austin even copied signature "freeze" moves that they probably picked up from a youtube video. hhrmmmm.
